Mrs Duranton's MYP 1, 2, 3 French class did a project on building their own ecological neighborhood based on sustainable development. They had to draw it and then explain their choices. Their projects were extremely well done, demonstrating their creativity and sense of responsibility to build a better future. This work was included in the Unit "J'aime ma ville", in which students learned how France is trying to improve the quality of life for its citizens while preserving the planet. Maisons-Laffitte is a very good example of the many excellent cities in France committed to becoming more ecological and to remaining a wonderful place to live.
