The students learned about the earth and its relationship with the moon and the sun as well as about other planets in our solar system. They also learned about forces, including gravitational force, air resistance, and friction. One of their summative tasks was to design and make a model of a planet lander, taking into consideration the specific characteristics of their planet. The planets of choice were Mars, Mercury, or Venus. You can see some of their submissions here!
