A CFA horticulture and equine profession into Our New French Bilingual Primary School
For this school year 2025/2026, we have inaugurated our new French Bilingual Primary School. This initiative was far more than a building project; it represents a profound, strategic commitment to our students' future and educational environment. By meticulously enhancing the existing architectural heritage of the 1980s, we have created a truly remarkable before-and-after story, successfully blending modern functionality with historical respect. This renewed campus is now a vibrant space designed to support and inspire the next generation of bilingual learners.

The Challenge: A Bold Vision, A Tight Deadline
Nine months. That's all it took to transform a unique vision into the stunning reality of our new French Bilingual Primary School. Before, the site was no ordinary building; it was a former CFA horticulture and equine profession. The real challenge was reimagining every parcel of this complex to create efficient, practical, and inspiring learning spaces for our students. It was a daring gamble to meet: transform this unique space so that 568 children could start the 2025 school year in brand-new premises.

A Legacy Renewed: Renovate, Not Rebuild
Our Real Estate Director, Emmanuel Glory, and the innovative architecture of Julien Combot championed an approach that was both eco-friendly and economically sound: renovate rather than build new. By completely rethinking the existing spaces, we were able to streamline and redevelop, all while breathing new life into them. Giving a building a new lease of life also means reducing its carbon footprint, preserving resources, and perpetuating a collective memory. This project is a testament to purposeful design, proving that architecture can reinvent itself without denying its past.

The Heart of Our New School
We now house 9 kindergarten classes and 22 primary classes. The facility is a modern and inspiring learning environment, built around its central gathering point: the Agora. This isn't just a hall; it is the beating heart and the very soul of our French Bilingual Primary School, where everyone comes to read, play, and connect. This birth marks an immense step forward for education in Maisons-Laffitte. We can't wait to see what incredible things our students achieve in their new, purpose-built home!
