During a four-day adventure, our MYP5 students embarked on an immersive journey through Normandy, delving into its rich history and crafting unforgettable memories.

On Day 1, the journey began with a captivating tour of the Abbey aux Hommes in Caen, where students delved into the legacy of William the Conqueror; a perfect blend of learning and introspection, culminating in a cosy evening at the Château.

Day 2 was filled with energy as students embraced the excitement of sand yachting on the beach. Under sunny skies on Day 3, students marvelled at the beauty of Mont Saint Michel, immersing themselves in its rich history and panoramic views.
As the journey concluded on Day 4 with a visit to William the Conqueror's castle in Falaise, students bid farewell to a week filled with new knowledge and cherished experiences

Throughout the trip, students embodied and exemplified the IB learner profile: their dedication to teamwork and active involvement displayed their commitment to being principled and balanced learners, while their curiosity and readiness to explore reflected the spirit of inquirers. With the guidance of dedicated staff, the MYP5 trip was a resounding success!
