Since 1993, Ermitage offers to the best grade 10 students additional training consisting of a course on general culture which is part of the EXCELLENCE CYCLE.

Through this initiative, the volunteers who participate can, twice a month from November to May:
  • deepen their intellectual knowledge;
  • acquire a broader general culture, essential for higher education, and above all develop a taste for it (read, for example, reference books);
  • to be, therefore, more motivated to obtain a baccalaureate which is the starting point of ambitious university studies.

The study of various themes (literary, artistic, or historical...) completes their academic training, in the form of an interactive course taught by the philosophy teacher of the school.

Twenty participants are selected after submitting a detailed motivation letter. And, for nearly 30 years, generations of students have happily remembered an educational initiative that strengthened their taste for studying and stimulated their intellectual curiosity.
