We welcomed our Lower School students back to school in September, where they joined their peers in their classes and houses.

Did you know? At Ermitage, we have houses that each new student joins and in which they stay until the end of their primary education. On the first Friday of the school year, everyone was in a hurry to know who was going to join:

  • Willow Flames (green)
  • Tigers (orange)
  • Yellow Sun Lions (yellow)
  • Poseïdon (blue)

Each new student, from CP to CM2, received an envelope containing the coat of arms of their house and was thus able to join their classmates. We heard many cries of joy of children discovering that they joined teams with their friends. We spent the afternoon with team building activities which welcomed and reunited students.

Sanitary measures were enforced: we played games by class level; rather than across all levels, which we previously had done. Soon we hope be able to propose adventures where students from all houses can participate at the same time again!
