Ermitage students opened their IBDP Visual Art exhibition to the school community with great success. Each of our nine students followed a challenging creative journey and their exhibition was the culmination of two years of art practice, theory and curatorial skills.
Over seventy artworks were displayed which explored a wide range of themes from identity and climate change to social critique and dystopian narratives. This impressive exhibition also covered an array of media from acrylic painting and wood sculpture, to installation, photography and printmaking. Our congratulations to our 9 students who have shown true commitment to their creative practice over the past two years.
In addition, the exhibition was a good opportunity for the school to experience a good moment of sharing and exchange, which was very much appreciated by all staff and students.
