Ermitage hosts the Round Square Forum for European School

Ermitage International School hosted the Round Square Forum for Schools in Europe & The Mediterranean Region from 26th - 28th January. This event offered opportunities for representatives of 28 schools to meet, discuss and exchange around set topics.

This was the first in-person meeting since 2020, it welcomed not only Round Square representatives but Head of Schools and faculty members keen on learning about Round Square. On the programme, networking, good practice carousel presentations, "how to" workshops and facilitated discussions.

The 42 delegates arrived at Maisons-Laffitte on the 26th afternoon and started by an opening ceremony of the Forum with an introduction to Round Square for the newcomers. The following days were marked by a tour of the Ermitage Campus, rounds of good practice carousels including presentations, discussions on different topics, and instructional training sessions. The forum was concluded with a plenary to state and discuss next steps and future opportunities in the Round Square network.

The aim of this event was to make new connections between the schools (which will hopefully lead to more exchange opportunities), generate and share fresh ideas and good practices within the schools to make life for students more interesting, dynamic and diverse.
