Inquiry and Innovation are core to our school values, as we develop curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. In Biology, DP1 students have been exploring how hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) concentration and pH affect catalase activity in potato tissue.
They found activity increased with higher H₂O₂ levels until saturation and peaked at neutral pH. This hands-on experiment honed their skills in designing investigations, data collection, and analysis—essential for scientific inquiry.
