As part of their unit on Solidarity and the Round Square initiative, IB MYP 1,2,3 French students and Lycée students wrote heartfelt letters to elderly residents in nursing homes.

This meaningful activity strengthened connections across generations and brought joy to those who may feel isolated, reinforcing the values of empathy and community engagement. At Ermitage, we strive to create a culture where kindness, respect, and social responsibility are at the heart of learning.

Initiatives like this help our students develop a strong sense of belonging and an awareness of the positive impact they can have on others. We are incredibly proud of our compassionate and creative students for making a real difference through this thoughtful gesture!
