Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year!

Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year!
Monica Dugo

Dear Families,

I hope that you have all had a restful and fun summer break. It is with great pleasure that we ready ourselves to embark on a new school year with you and your children. Our 2020-2021 student body is composed of 1300 students from around the globe and we are excited to start this journey all together.

In regards to Covid, while there remains a degree of uncertainty as to how the virus will impact the year, we have received instructions from the government to start the year with all students on campus. We will continue to implement strict sanitary guidelines, which will be shared by your respective academic section. We will, of course, continue to monitor the situation very closely and will adapt as needed.

In addition to the various efforts made and protocols put in place in recent months to meet health and safety guidelines, we are pleased to announce the installation of a temporary extension to our cafeteria, located at 46 avenue Eglé, in order to give more space to our students during meal time. We hope that students will enjoy this bright space with its direct view of the courtyard.

We have been preparing our campus diligently for your arrival and trust that we will work together to keep each other safe and healthy, and give each and every student the best opportunities possible to grow and learn.

As we approach our 80th anniversary in 2021, let us be reminded that our school community is founded upon pillars of resilience, open-mindedness, and a dedication to creativity and learning in and outside of the classroom. We trust our teaching staff and students will uphold these values throughout their academic journey ahead, from the maternelle to the lycée, in the IB Programs and in our Boarding Houses, and that students will take pride in their commitment to becoming lifelong learners.

Let this year be one of hope and good health.
