Dear Families,

Though it seems like the academic year has just begun, it is never too soon to begin to prepare for university admissions. For all interested DP1/1ère and DP2/TLE students, below are some exciting upcoming virtual events that are open and free for registration. 

International University Fair - Western Europe 
5 October
9:00–12:00 & 18:00–20:00 (CEST)

Meet college and university representatives from all over the world at this free virtual event. One week prior to the fair date, all university booths will be open and remain accessible to you for pre-fair information browsing. During the fair times mentioned below, representatives from all universities will be online and available to speak with you directly via the chat function.

Japan University Consortium

The Japan University Consortium is group of universities that came together to offer webinars to promote studying in Japan. The upcoming webinar will review financial aid and scholarships.

Florida Regional Admissions Counselors (FRAC) is a non-profit service organization created by college admissions representatives who provide information for high school students within the state of Florida about higher education opportunities around the nation.

Columbia, Princeton & Yale Virtual Information Session

Join us for a virtual collegial conversation with seasoned admissions officers from Columbia University, Princeton University and Yale University!

We will discuss admissions, financial aid, and other current topics of interest to students, families, and international counselors. We'll also give insights on the latest details regarding life and learning at our three institutions. We hope you will use this opportunity to share your thoughts as well as have your questions answered.

   Virtually Orange: Dutch University Festival

Join us as more than 20 Dutch higher education institutions collaborate to bring you the biggest, undergraduate only, free Study in Holland event this Fall: “Virtually Orange”.
You can roam around the platform just like you would in a real, in-person fair. Visit booths from different universities, download information materials, watch videos, and, most importantly, chat with uni representatives!

Right now 73% of students applying to university and college are yet to decide their final choices. With many open days cancelled, students need more help than ever to get the facts they need to make informed decisions.

To help, we’re hosting live, virtual exhibitions, dedicated to their interests. With advice on how to research options during the pandemic, writing personal statements, and student finance, it's their chance to get their questions answered by subject and admissions specialists. 

              The Future of Work Virtual Session

There’s no question that the recent pandemic has changed the landscape of the working world. As we adapt to changes in our economic, political, and social environments driven by the pandemic, the question of what the future of work will look like is more paramount than ever.

This interactive session is a unique opportunity to hear direct from a Hult professor and connect with your industry peers all around the world.

  Bishop's University Virtual Open House

An opportunity for students to receive current information on specific programs, student life and Admissions processes at Bishop's. The application fee will be waived for all participants (savings of $65.00 CAD). 

Beginning October 10th, for those who 1) register for open house 2) apply online and 3) supply transcripts before October 14th, their application will be prioritized, reviewed and have an admissions decision made before the end of October (maybe even during the Open House event!).

Utrecht University Bachelor's Open Days
