COVID-19: School Closure

COVID-19: School Closure
Monica Dugo

Dear Families,

As you are aware by now, President Macron has ordered the closure of all schools in France. This is an unprecedented event that we had hoped to avoid, but have been preparing for in the past weeks. It is important that we trust in each other’s’ ability to be resilient, smart, compassionate and attentive to one another. While we will be closing the campus, online school is still in session and we will do our best to continue with each student’s academic journey from a distance.

Each section of the school will reach out to parents and students with their particular plan of action in regards to e-learning. This will require some fine-tuning, patience, and cooperation from all parties involved. Students will be required to show a level of maturity in line with the seriousness of the situation we are living through.

Dates of school closure: March 15, 2020
Dates of school re-opening: to be confirmed

Who to Contact

In case of class/academic related issues, please contact your Head of Section via email. While we will aim to continue physical presence on campus for administrative staff, we cannot guarantee that office phones will be monitored at all times.

In case of non-academic school-related queries, please email communications@ermitage.fr

Any medical emergencies should be brought to the attention of the authorities by dialing “15.”
