Ermitage is proud to announce that 100% of the 2014 IB Diploma Candidates have been awarded their IB Diplomas! The average score amongst the Ermitage candidates was an impressive 34.6 points!
The IB Diploma is graded out of a total of 45 points earned through 6 Subject Groups as well as the 3 IB Core elements (Extended Essay, TOK and CAS). The highest score earned by an Ermitage student for 2014 was 41 points.
For reference, Ermitage also had 100% pass rate for 2013, with an average score of 32.3 points. The 2013 world average for the IB Diploma was 29.9 points; the 2014 worldwide average is still being compiled.
Ermitage IB2 graduates have been accepted to top universities world-wide and celebrated their graduation on May 24th, 2014 at the Chateau of Maisons-Laffitte. They Keynote Speaker was Mr. Brian Dawson, Executive Director of the Round Square Organization. In addition to their certificates, select Ermitage students received awards recognizing their commitment to Round Square, Academic Excellence and the IB Learner Profile.
