IB PYP CLASS TEACHER - ERMITAGE MAISONS-LAFFITTE
PART TIME - STARTING IN AUGUST 2026

Are you looking for an opportunity within a growing IB school? As part of our expansion and in alignment with our Ermitage International IB School Mission, Vision and IB philosophy, our growing Primary provision has been approved for IB PYP Candidacy.

This programme uses an inquiry-based approach, featuring small class sizes at our Ermitage IB School campus. Instruction is in English, with opportunities for students to learn French at all levels, from beginner to fluent. These classes prepare students for our MYP and DP programmes through transdisciplinary learning, emphasising critical thinking, collaboration and international-mindedness, in line with the IB Learner Profile. We also seek to incorporate outdoor learning experiences, making use of the beautiful surroundings of Maisons-Laffitte park and forest.

This position is for a teacher to provide half of the teaching load of our PYP5 class, in collaboration with our PYP Coordinator. The teacher will take the class daily for half a day. Additionally the teacher will have some duties and the opportunity to deliver one or two after school ECAs (Extra Curricular activities).

Initially, this will be a part-time role, with around 12-15 hours of teaching spread over five days, with 2 hours of break/lunch duty per week.

An initial one-year contract is offered, with the possibility to extend to a permanent position subject to mutual agreement.

IB MYP SPANISH B (ELE) Teacher - ERMITAGE MAISONS-LAFFITTE

This position involves teaching Spanish to students learning Spanish as an additional language within the IB MYP framework.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about Spanish language acquisition and culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject background, experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language and a commitment to interactive and inquiry-based language learning. You should be able to inspire students through communication, culture, and critical thinking.
