Our equestrian programmes nurture the riding skills of students (aged 11-18) across the core disciplines - jumping, cross-country and dressage.

Maisons-Laffitte is known as the ‘Cité du Cheval’ (City of the Horse) and has a rich equestrian heritage. There are perfect, natural surroundings for riding in Maisons-Laffitte Park just outside the school and the neighbouring Forest of St. Germain-en-Laye contains an amazing 65 kilometres of well-maintained riding trails.

The town is also home to exceptional equestrian facilities and instructors. Many Ermitage International School students choose riding as an activity and they benefit from the School’s official partnership with leading establishments.

Ermitage International School students can choose to rent a horse or bring their own to be stabled and cared for at one of the partner stables.
