Equestrian Programme
Our equestrian programmes give students (aged 11-18) the opportunity to combine their passion for horses with academic excellence. They practice the following disciplines: jumping, dressage, and cross country.
Maisons-Laffitte is known as the ‘Cité du Cheval’ (City of the Horse) and has a rich equestrian heritage. Located in the heart of Maisons-Laffitte park, the school provides the perfect setting for horse riding. The neighbouring forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye offers an amazing 65 kilometres of well-maintained bridle paths.
Many of Ermitage students choose horse riding as an activity, benefiting from the school's official partnerships with renowned establishments.
Premium Facilities
Maisons-Laffitte offers exceptional facilities like no other in the Paris area. As part of our Equestrian Program, your child will have access to all stables and Jumping de Maisons-Laffitte facilities, including the Gallop track.
Jumping Maisons-Laffitte
- 100m x 50m competition arena
- 35m x 70m relaxation arena
- 60m x 20 m dressage arena
- 70m x 40m grass working arena
- Spring Garden equipped with cross-country obstacle
Stables
- Stabling for 60+ horses
- 800 m² indoor arena
Ermitage International School students can choose to rent a horse or bring their own.
If your child has a particular passion for horse riding and/or specific equestrian ambitions, we would like to highlight our specialist equestrian programmes.
