Admissions Policy

Applications are welcome throughout the year and are reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received.  Children currently enrolled in the school are given priority for their re-enrollment, which generally takes place in February and March.
 

Admissions Procedure

Once we have received and reviewed your child's application form and the non-refundable application fee, we may invite you and your child to an interview.  This is an important encounter for both the child and Ermitage, and is an essential part of the application process.  The child and family, especially in the case of a student considering boarding, will be invited to visit Ermitage.  It is thus important to allow yourself enough time for this meeting.  While there is no formal admissions exam, we may request that your child pass an evaluation if there is a question about his/her level in an academic subject or language.

Following the interview, Ermitage may make an offer for enrollment, in which case the family (or guardian) will receive a formal letter of acceptance.  The offer will remain open for no more than 15 days, or until the Admissions Office has received all relevant documents and the registration fee.
